They incorporate a warm up, upper body, lower body, full throttle, turbo, after burn, strength, core and cool down segments into the workout. I really like the new format and am happy I didn’t decide not to do it because of the DVDs I had at home from older versions of this program. The format of Turbo Kick recently underwent a total makeover. I left this training with some serious homework.

The training made the day go by really fast and if I could figure out how to lead with the left side of my body I bet this would have been a much smoother day for me. The music is fun and it’s a great way to build up a sweat fast! Its high intensity from start to finish and will leave you burning calories for hours. The good news is that I feel like this is a format I could actually use and learn easily. Kickboxing is one of the best cardio workouts you can give to your body. And we all know how well I do with choreographed! Lots of movement and lots of interval work all packed into a choreographed package. I have some reservations about the program but all in all it’s a pretty fun format.

It was good to know people…I think this might be the first training I’ve been too where I actually knew someone in the class.Ĭlass started with introductions and a full workout. I went with my bosses/friends Tracy and Lisa. The training was held at Results Matter in Utica, NY. I’m already a piYo instructor and my only hope was that it wasn’t as time consuming as learning those rounds (don’t get me wrong I love the workouts but sometimes I just don’t have hours to learn new rounds.) This weekend I took a chance on a new teaching format called Turbo Kick Live! It’s another offering from Beachbody and since I have a background in kickboxing I thought it would be a good certification to have under my belt.
